Cause

Radar cannot open the files \radar\system\RADARMSG.DAT & IDX. These files contain the messages of the Radar program.

Occuring when

When starting Radar

Solution

1. Insert the Radar "Program + Multimedia" CD into the CD-drive
2. Open the CD with Windows Explorer, open the folder RADAR, then the folder SYSTEM
3. Copy both RADARMSG.DAT & IDX into the folder C:\RADAR\SYSTEM on the hard disk
4. Select the files C:\radar\system\RADARMSG.DAT & IDX
5. Choose "File , Properties" and remove the 'Read-only' attribute.
6. Confirm with 'OK'
7. Start Radar
