Radar Internal Error (7), bad protection key
Cause
Occurs when using a wrong security key (Hasp key)
Can also be caused by :
- incorrect parallel port mode
- incorrect version of the Hasp driver
Occuring when
Occurs when trying to start Radar or while working with Radar.
Solution
To resolve this issue:
- Check that the license number displayed when starting Radar matches the license number on the Radar security key
- check the parallel port mode in the BIOS setup of the computer. It must be set to “Standard” (or “SPP”, or “Output only” or “Compatible” or “Normal”) instead of “ECP” or “EPP” or “Bi-directional”. Refer to the computer’s guide to learn how to enter the Bios setup. On most computers you need to press the [Del] key or F2 when the computer boots.
