How do I know if my MAC is intel based?

I was told that I need an intel based MAC. How do I know if my MAC is intel based?

To run RADAR 10 on a MAC you need an intel based MAC.

How can I check if my MAC is intel based?

Answer:

Click on the Apple in the top left corner and go to "About This Mac". If in the line where it sais "Processor" you can see the type of your processor. If it contains the word "Intel" then your Mac is intel based (see sample screenshot) otherwise you have a powerpc processor.

Note: The change from powerpc to intel processors came in 2006. If your Mac is sold after 2007 then you definitely have an intel based one.

Note: MAC OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) and higher does not run on power pc processors anymore. If you have MAC OS X 10.6 or higher running on your MAC then your MAC must be an intel based one.
