Cannot open database: please try again

Check that the virtual network card is installed:

Under Windows

If the box is empty, click on the button with a plus sign (add host-only network) and then on OK.

If however when you try to add the virtual network card you see the message "Failed to create the host-only network interface" then you need to uninstall and reinstall VirtualBox.

Click on Start, Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs (XP) or Programs and Features (Vista, W7)

Uninstall VirtualBox
