Can't open Remedies table ...\system\remed (see radar.ini)(H-12)

When I start Radar, the error message "Can't open Remedies table ...\system\remed (see radar.ini)(H-12)" displays

Cause

Radar cannot open the \Radar\System\REMED.DAT & IDX files which contain the remedies used by the Radar program.

Solution

  1. Start the Windows Explorer and open the folder C:\RADAR\SYSTEM
  2. Locate the REMED.DAT & IDX files, click right on each file to check that they are not in 'read-only' mode
  3. Start the Repertory Utilities program: click on Start, Programs, Archibel software, Repertory Utilities
  4. Select the Synthesis and click OK
  5. In the RepUtil menu, click on Repair, Advanced Repair
  6. Click the Deselect All button
  7. Tick the box next to Remedies in the Systems Tables section
  8. Click on the repair button
  9. Close Repertory Utilities

If the repair does not function, log a support request via the Customer Care Service http://www.archibel.com/cgi-bin/tte/ttx.cgi
