Cannot open repertory, symptom table is corrupt

Cannot open repertory, Error H-124 trying to open \data\synt_e9.1\symptom

Cause

The Synthesis files are damaged and need to be repaired

Occuring when

When opening the Synthesis repertory

Solution

  1. Exit RADAR
  2. Open the Windows explorer
  3. Select the repertory RADAR\DATA\xxx (where xxx is the name of the repertory, for example, SYNT_E.91)
  4. Select the files SYMPTOM.IDX and EXTRACT.IDX and delete them.
  5. Open the "Repertory Utilities" program (Start, Programs, Radar, Repertory Utilities).
  6. Select the repertory to be repaired and click on OK.
  7. Select the "Repair" menu, choose "Symptoms"
  8. Select the "Repair" menu, choose "Extractions".
  9. If this does not repair the repertory, follow the same procedure and choose "All tables" from the "Repair" menu.
